Website to celebrate Sharp’s centennial anniversary in 2012. Featuring their innovations since their inception in 1912, through a cute animated scrolling scene of their products. Click on an item and a nice slideshow of similar products and a bit of history. Set to a catchy tune and smooth animation, wrapped up in a minimal look and feel it gives the brand quite a bit of character. Simple, fun and looks good – very nice.
Nicely crafted site for HTC in Denmark. Nice 3d interface where you zoom into stories about the HTC phone and it’s features. Nice mixture of product photography and line drawings and video from YouTube. 3D interface is smooth, great transitions, and looks great.

Incredible detailed site that is like an interactive museum of the old handheld games. I can only imagine the amount of time and effort that has gone into this amazing creation. They have taken high res photos and reproduced the games down to the sounds for each game – really amazing.

Promoting IBM’s ‘power 7′ systems in South America, by means of an explorable technology lab. Lots of little interactive experiments – all via a first person 3D interface – the best I have yet seen. Really nice look and feel, great interactivity all wrapped up in a simple interface!

Mega cool, and mega mental promotional site for SoftBank, and what seems like promotional Jelly Beans edition phones! Featuring a 3d environment where jelly beans and the phones float around to music, making up shapes and animating around everywhere. By clicking and dragging a phone, you drag the phone towards you and the rest of the phones carry on doing their own thing. By dragging more you reveal different information about the phone. Really fun and captivating, I really love the drag interactivity, and sitting back to watch all the animation! Really cool…

Site promoting the new handset from Emblaze. Very cool intro video followed by a futuristic / sci-fi esque site. Lots of nice motion graphics in this one, with a quasi cinematic feel. Some nice touches and animation, all with a nice attention to detail.

Pretty cool site promoting Blackberry in Brazil. Using Twitter feeds and Flickr images and videos, you can see ‘normal’ people using their Blackberry. These messages, videos, and images scroll by to give you a nice overview of what is possible using Blackberry products. Really nicely produced, lots of slick animations with a clean and crisp visual style. Nice to sit back and let it all roll by.

Interesting site promoting Verbatim memory. Characters that are made up from memory sticks fight each other in an arena, you can answer a series of questions, each correct answer gives you more memory – in the end creating your character – which you can then use to fight other characters. All in slick 3D, the site is great fun to use, with loads of nice animations and interactivity. Pretty unusual and engaging way of promoting a somewhat boring product!

Interesting site promoting Foxtel’s IQ TV box, the site allows you to create an ‘interactive 3d portrait’ of yourself. Using photographs, words, stories, Twitter feeds, and so on - users can make a tiled 3d image of themselves which they can share with friends, Facebook etc. What I like about it, is the 3d build up of the ‘i am unique’ text made up of photos, and the way you interact with the scene, also the way the portrait is made up of various bits such as uploaded photos and descriptive words. Overall design is nice and simple, with a lack of overwhelming branding, the 3d portrait is a bit buggy but the idea is pretty nice…

Site highlighting the Sony presence at the CES 2009 show. Nice site featuring videos and content from blogs and twitter feeds from Sony. Well laid out and it looks pretty nice, not groundbreaking, but nice buttons and interaction / animation and so on…
Very simple site that promotes Nokia’s E71 phone and the concept ‘Beautiful Connections’. Four short films were commissioned with the artists, Universal Everything, Carl Burgess, field, and SHFT; they all explore beautiful connections which are very stunning. It’s all very minimal and clean, and all a great excuse to commission some great visual artists…
